Inter Milan could undergo a major midfield overhaul next summer, with Tuttosport reporting that Hakan Calhanoglu, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Davide Frattesi may all depart at the end of the season.
The reports claim that the Nerazzurri are already mapping out their strategy in anticipation of what could be a dramatic reshaping of the core department.
The headline concern is Calhanoglu.
The Turkish star, a central figure in recent campaigns, is increasingly expected to move on.
Indeed, with the report claiming he has effectively set a rendezvous with Galatasaray for the summer window.

Inter, aware of the likelihood of his exit, have begun planning contingencies.
Beppe Marotta’s longstanding dream signing remains Manu Koné.
Roma rejected approaches last summer under the Friedkin ownership.
However, Koné continues to be viewed as the ideal profile to soften the blow of losing Calhanoglu.
His athleticism, dynamism and press-resistance make him a strong stylistic match for what Inter expect to need.
The club must also consider a replacement for Mkhitaryan, whose contract is winding down.
The leading internal option is Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, currently shining on loan at Pisa.
With Frattesi also weighing up his future amid reduced playing time, Inter could soon be remodelling their entire midfield structure.
The coming months will determine whether the club opt for a full rebuild or a phased transition, but the direction of travel is becoming clearer with each passing week.
