AC Milan completed their first league double over Inter since the 2010/11 season with a narrow 1-0 victory on Sunday night.

Indeed, the Rossoneri won both top-flight matches against their fiercest rivals this season via an identical scoreline.

However, Massimiliano Allegri’s men are trailing the Nerazzurri by seven points.

With only ten Serie A games left to play, Cristian Chivu is on course to win the Scudetto in his first year at the club.

Still, Inter would be naive to let complacency creep in, with several high-stakes fixtures around the corner.

Meanwhile, Yann Bisseck admits he would swap the league title for derby bragging rights in a heartbeat.

“Being seven points clear is a good thing,” Bisseck claimed. “We’ve had a good season so far, but there are still ten matches left, and that’s a lot. We have to keep working, but I think with our strength we’ll make it.”

Meanwhile, Bisseck also addressed the possibility of leaving Inter in the summer after drawing interest from several foreign clubs.

“Interest from other clubs? When a player does well, it’s normal, but I’m focused on Inter to win the two trophies. Marotta? He told me himself to say that.”

Finally, he confirmed he would sign up for winning the Scudetto at the expense of losing the derby.

“We feel it a lot, but in the last two years, it hasn’t gone well. Losing the two derbies but winning the Scudetto? I’d sign up for that.”

Inter will be looking to return to winning ways when they face Atalanta at home next weekend.
