The latest word stemming from the Italian media is likely to come as a source of concern for those in a position of power at Barcelona.
This comes amid reports that Nerazzurri boss Simone Inzaghi looks set to have two sidelined stars back available for selection on Tuesday night.
Inter and Barca are of course primed to lock horns tomorrow evening, in the 2nd leg of a Champions League semi-final tie.
In the buildup to the fixture, the former have been forced to sweat over the status of a pair of key players, namely Lautaro Martínez, and Benjamin Pavard.
The widespread expectation, after both suffered injury setbacks over the course of the last week, was that neither Lautaro or Pavard would be available to take to the pitch at San Siro on Tuesday.
If the latest word stemming from the media in Italy is anything to go by, however, then both could not only feature, but from the off against Barcelona.
As per a report from Gianluca Di Marzio:
‘On the eve of the match, Lautaro Martinez seems to be able to play the match as a starter. And the same feeling applies to Benjamin Pavard.’
