Inter Milan are already planning for the long-term future of their goalkeeping department, with Yann Sommer approaching the end of his current cycle, and Spurs goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario named as a potential successor.
According to Corriere della Sera, the club is actively evaluating three potential replacements, with Vicario of Tottenham Hotspur among the leading options.
The Italian goalkeeper is reportedly at odds with Spurs and keen to return to Serie A, making him an attractive candidate for Inter.
Other names in the mix include Mike Maignan, who has previously been linked to Inter.
Furthermore, Kevin Atubolu from Freiburg, a towering presence in goal.

The planning comes even as Inter deal with more pressing injury issues in defence.
Notably Francesco Acerbi, who is expected to be sidelined for roughly a month, due to a serious muscular problem.
Despite this, the club is already strategising for succession in the goalkeeping position, showing long-term intent beyond immediate squad concerns.
Vicario’s desire to return to Italy, coupled with his experience, positions him as a compelling option.
Meanwhile Maignan and Atubolu provide alternative solutions depending on availability and cost.
Inter’s focus remains on maintaining stability in goal.
