Inter Milan are outlining their plan for Aleksandar Stankovic as interest grows from Spurs and Newcastle, with the Nerazzurri considering bringing the midfielder back to Milan despite selling him only last summer.
The Serbian midfielder, formerly captain of Inter’s Primavera, has developed rapidly during spells at Lucerne and now Club Brugge.
Indeed, earning a senior debut for his country and attracting Premier League attention.
Inter inserted a double buy-back clause when they sold him.
They can re-sign Stankovic for €23m in 2026 or €25m in 2027.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInter1908, the club are leaning toward activating the option as early as next summer.
Doing so would cost the Nerazzurri €13m in added value, but would allow Stankovic to return at the lowest possible fee.
Furthermore, his return would also support Inter’s wider strategy of lowering the squad’s average age under Christian Chivu.
