The Nerazzurri have reached an agreement worth up to €26 million to sign Parma striker Ange Yoan-Bonny, who is expected to have his medicals tomorrow.

Having worked with the 18-year-old at Parma, new Inter manager Cristian Chivu is looking to reunite with Leoni at the San Siro.

The Italian centre-back emerged as one of the best young talents in Serie A last season, playing a pivotal role in Parma’s escape from relegation.

His impressive performances have also caught the attention of AC Milan and Juventus.

But the Nerazzurri will have the edge in the transfer race due to Chivu’s presence. They are prepared to invest up to €30m in Leoni.

Chivu has identified the Italian prodigy as a top target to reinforce their ageing backline.

Francesco Acerbi has entered the final year of his contract, although Inter have the option to terminate his deal this summer.

The Italian giants are also open to selling German centre-back Yann Aurel Bisseck and reinvesting the proceeds from his sale in Leoni.

The former Padova star has the potential to succeed at Inter and form a great partnership with his compatriot Alessandro Bastoni.

Leoni can also enhance his chances of a senior team call-up from Italy by sealing a move to Inter.

The Nerazzurri have already signed Petar Sucic and Luis Henrique this summer.
