It is a well-known fact that Real Madrid are closely monitoring the situation around Nico Paz, even as interest from Inter Milan continues to grow.
The young midfielder has been enjoying an impressive spell in Italy, and his performances have not gone unnoticed by some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
According to recent reports from Defensa Central, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is fully aware of the fact that Inter are putting pressure on the Argentine to not to return to Real Madrid.
The Italian side are said to be willing to invest around €60 million to bring Nico to Milan, with the intention of making him a central figure in their midfield.
However, Real Madrid appear to have a very clear plan of their own. As reported before, the club is determined to activate the buy-back clause included in his deal, ensuring that he returns to the Santiago Bernabeu next summer.
Being a product of the club’s youth system also works in his favour, as Madrid traditionally value academy players who prove themselves at senior level.
Within the club, Nico has always been held in high regard and the decision to let him leave was not due to a lack of faith, but rather a move to help him gain experience in top-level football.

At Como, he has quickly become one of the team’s most important players, earning praise from supporters and attracting attention from several major clubs.
Despite that interest, those close to the situation believe Real Madrid have already made their intentions clear.
The club see him as part of their future and are prepared to bring him back once the time is right.
For Nico, it is known that the dream has always been to succeed with Real Madrid.
The next step will depend on the plans of the coaching staff. It is said that whoever the manager is, Nico is expected to arrive with a significant role in mind.
One of his main conditions for returning is the guarantee of regular playing time and if that cannot be assured, he would prefer to continue developing elsewhere for a few more seasons.
For now, Real Madrid hold the advantage. With the buy-back option in place and a clear plan for the player, the club appear ready to act before any outside offer can change the situation.
