Inter Milan have confirmed that captain Lautaro Martinez has suffered a muscle strain and will miss the upcoming Serie A clash against US Lecce.
Medical examinations carried out this morning at the Humanitas Institute in Rozzano revealed a strain to the soleus muscle in his left leg, as per FCInterNews.
The Argentine forward had been forced off in the 60th minute of Inter’s recent Champions League fixture against Bodo/Glimt.

The club statement added that his condition will be reassessed next week.
“Lautaro Martinez underwent medical and instrumental tests this morning at the Humanitas Institute in Rozzano. The tests revealed a strain in the soleus muscle of his left leg. The Argentine striker’s condition will be reevaluated next week.”
