The Nerazzurri decided to launch an onslaught for the young Argentine.

The 21-year-old is a youth product of Tallares who is currently on loan at Independiente Rivadavia.

His current employers have the option to buy the defender. Therefore, they are looking to pounce on the clause before registering a swift windfall by selling him to Inter for a larger figure.

The two clubs have been embroiled in ongoing negotiations over the past few days.

According to Sky Sport Italia via FcInter1908, Inter and Rivadavia will resume their talks on Friday.

The Nerazzurri will be hellbent on reaching a definitive agreement today.

The operation would cost the Serie A giants circa 6.5 million euros as a transfer fee in addition to various bonuses.

But as the source explains, the final knot remains the sell-on clause. The Argentinians are gunning for a large percentage in case of a future resale.

So it remains to be seen if Inter will oblige. But in any case, the report still expects the deal to go through one way or the other.

The Nerazzurri are reportedly preparing for the arrival of Palacios which should ensue next week. After all, the summer transfer market’s deadline day is next Friday.

The source insists that the arrival of the Argentina U20 would mark the end of Inter’s transfer dealings for the summer.

The Italian champions bolstered their first team by snapping Mehdi Taremi, Piotr Zielinski and Josep Martinez.

They also made some interesting additions to the youth squad, like Luka Topalovic, Alex Perez and Thiago Romano.
