Inter Milan have resumed training amid the November international break, as they prepare for the upcoming Derby della Madonnina. 

According to Sky Sport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri returned to Appiano Gentile today for the first time since beating Lazio on Sunday.

Lautaro Martinez and Ange-Yoan Bonny were on the scoresheet as Inter saw off the Biancocelesti to ascend the Serie A throne.

However, Cristian Chivu knows better than to underestimate the competition.

Indeed, with runners-up Roma trailing Chivu’s side on goal difference alone, there’s no room for complacency.

Then, the squad will gather on Tuesday to kick off preparations for the Milan derby.

All four Italian players seem set to return by Monday night, with El Toro likely to arrive even earlier.

With Argentina facing Angola in a friendly on Friday, the Nerazzurri skipper will return to Italy over the weekend.
