Inter Milan have €25 million for the January transfer window, with Malick Fofana a target and Ademola Lookman less likely.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.
In the end, Inter finished the transfer window after making five signings.
Deadline day arrival Manuel Akanji joined the likes of Petar Sucic, Luis Henrique, Ange-Yoan Bonny, and Andy Diouf as new arrivals.
However, considering that Akanji’s arrival coincided with the departure of Benjamin Pavard, Inter didn’t really need to make a big investment in signing the Swiss international.
And as Tuttosport note, that leaves Inter with some cash to spend.

According to Tuttosport Sport, Inter have around 25 million that they can spend in January.
That is the share of the €60 million or so budget that Nerazzurri owners Oaktree Capital were allowing for negative net spend in the summer window.
Therefore, Tuttosport reports, Inter are already planning for the January window.
The Turin-based newspaper anticipate a signing in attack from the Nerazzurri.
Inter already signed Bonny from Parma. And just as significantly, they also gave Francesco Pio Esposito a place in the first-team squad.
However, both of those two are out-and-out strikers.
On the other hand, Inter had also chased Atalanta Lookman very publicly. However, they failed to land the Nigerian after Atalanta refused to sell him.
Therefore, Inter are still in search of a forward who has a similar profile to Lookman. They want a quick player with good feet who can add some dribbling and unpredictability to their attack.
Lyon winger Malick Fofana has emerged as a major target in this respect.
Meanwhile, less likely would be that Inter reignite their interest in Lookman.
