Teenage forward De Pieri made his debut in the Champions League yesterday.

The 18-year-old came on as a substitute late in the match. He entered the pitch in place of Nerazzurri captain Lautaro Martinez.

De Pieri helped Inter Milan see out a 3-0 win over Monaco. This was enough to secure their place directly in the round of sixteen of the Champions League.

Inter Milan To Hand Giacomo De Pieri Five-Year Senior Deal

Yesterday’s appearance against Monaco was the most high-profile moment for De Pieri to date.

However, the teenager has been developing well behind the scenes.

De Pieri has been one of the stars of Inter’s Under-19 or Primavera team this season.

Therefore, Inter Milan intend to secure the 18-year-old’s future. They are ready to agree a five-year contract until the end of June 2029.

Meanwhile, reports FCIN, Inter’s plan is not to have De Pieri play with the newly-formed Under-23 team next season.

Rather, it is likely that the teenager will go on loan to get his first experience of senior football.

The likes of Cremonese and Frosinone have expressed an interest.
