Inter Milan travel for Real Madrid clash without star performer | OneFootball

La Liga giants Real Madrid will not be forced to contend with the talents of one of the star members of the first-choice XI at Inter Milan in their upcoming showdown with the Italians.

This comes amid confirmation that Federico Dimarco has been ruled out of the fixture.

Real Madrid are of course primed to kick their latest continental campaign into gear on Tuesday night. Fresh off a first defeat of the term at the hands of Real Betis this past weekend, Los Blancos have been pencilled in for a Champions League opener against the aforementioned Inter Milan.

José Mourinho and his staff will be forced to make do without a host of key players for the evening, with the likes of Bernardo Silva, Arda Güler and Rodrygo ruled out owing to either injury or suspension.

As alluded to above, though, Real are not the only ones short on numbers heading into the Bernabéu clash. As per a report from COPE:

‘Inter have already travelled to Madrid for this Tuesday’s match. A group without Dimarco. The left-back felt discomfort in his knee during Saturday’s match against Napoli.’
