Inter Milan veteran Henrikh Mkhitaryan has waxed lyrical about his clubmate, Marcus Thuram, in his latest interview.
Speaking on Inter’s Matchday Programme via FCInterNews, the 36-year-old hailed Ticus’ technical qualities.
In addition to forming a lethal partnership with Lautaro Martinez, the Frenchman has been brilliant individually.
Indeed, he amassed 13 goals and 13 assists en route to winning the Scudetto in his first season in Serie A.
Last year was not as prolific for the 28-year-old as he racked up fewer goal contributions despite bagging 14 goals.
However, he has been off to a flying start this term, netting five goals in six competitive appearances.
There’s more than just numbers in Thuram’s case.
His close control, dribbling ability, and scoring capacity make him a focal point of Inter’s attacking play.
Meanwhile, Henrikh Mkhitaryan recognizes his teammate’s standout quality.

Mkhitaryan praised Thuram’s rich skill set.
“Marcus Thuram’s technique,” he highlighted. “He’s very strong and has incredible power in one-on-one situations.
Then, the Inter Milan midfielder admitted he’s feeling at home.
“This is my fourth season here. Inter is my life today, my second home,” Mkhitaryan added.
“My three legends? Ronaldo, Zanetti, and Djorkaeff.”
Moreover, he revealed he would’ve pursued a law career had he not become a footballer.
“Yes, I could have become a lawyer or worked in economics,” he stated.
“However, football came into my life early, and it was a dream I pursued with determination.
“The first football my father gave me when I was four years old. From that moment, football has never left my life.
“As a child, I played further up the pitch and loved scoring as many goals as possible, trying to imitate him.
“Throughout my career, I’ve always given my all, from the first whistle to the final one.”
