Despite recovering from injury, Hakan Calhanoglu is likely to start from the bench.

Indeed, Piotr Zielinski will reportedly take the Turkish ace’s role as a deep-lying playmaker.

Meanwhile, Nicolo Barella should occupy his favored right-sided midfield role, offering energy, drive, and creativity in the final third.

Cristian Chivu has yet to decide whether to start Mkhitaryan or Frattesi on the left side.

Though the Italian started against Lecce on Saturday, his performance failed to impress.

On the other hand, Mkhitaryan opened the scoring off the bench, netting his first Serie A away goal since October 2022.

However, the former Sassuolo ace could still retain his place in the lineup, with Chivu valuing his late runs into the box and eye for goal.
