In addition to scoring his first-ever senior goal for Italy, the young striker has starred at the club level.

Despite scoring once in six league games, he has demonstrated tactical intelligence, awareness, and game sense beyond his age.

Furthermore, the former Spezia loanee found his Champions League breakthrough in Inter’s 4-0 rout of Royale Union SG.

With Marcus Thuram injured, Ange-Yoan Bonny and Esposito have had more space than initially expected.

More importantly, they’ve seized every opportunity, impressing not just manager Cristian Chivu but the entire football community.

After making back-to-back Serie A starts, the Frenchman will make way for the Italian starlet in tonight’s game against Fiorentina.

“I know the goal hasn’t come yet at this incredible stadium, and I can’t wait for it to happen,” Esposito stated.

“But first of all, I focus on my performance, playing my game, and bringing home the three points. If the goal comes tonight, even better.”

Meanwhile, Esposito has already adjusted to the pressure that comes with the Inter Milan shirt.

“If you play at Inter, you have to know that there are pressures and responsibilities.

“But I welcome both,” he added. “I’ve dreamed of them since I was a child, so it’s impossible to back down now.

“I take on the responsibilities and pressures and try to give my best every day in what I know how to do. Whatever comes after that is just a bonus.”

Finally, he delivered his verdict on Inter’s disappointing loss at Napoli last weekend.

“Football is beautiful because it immediately gives you the chance to make up for it,” Esposito stated.

“Tonight, we have the opportunity to show that it was just a small setback.
