Inter Milan’s Andy Diouf (23) is reported to have received a preliminary call-up to the French national team for Zinédine Zidane’s first squad, according to RMC Sport.

Having enjoyed a successful start to the season with the Nerazzurri, whom he joined last summer from RC Lens, the right-back has been putting in a string of quality performances. Having started all three of his appearances since the start of the 2026–27 campaign, the Neuilly-sur-Seine native has already proved decisive on two occasions, providing two assists.

Having made 29 appearances for the Milan-based side last season (scoring four goals), Diouf played a key part in the team’s league title and Coppa Italia triumph under manager Cristian Chivu.

At 23 years of age and with 10 caps for the France Under-21s, Diouf could soon see his fine performances rewarded, as Les Bleus are set to play four Nations League group stage matches in the coming weeks.
