Inter are monitoring from distance the situation regarding Lazio full-back Manuel Lazzarri under Sarri within the capital club.
Il Messaggero, via FCInter1908, reports that the Nerazzurri are heavily intrigued by the 29 year-old defender and are earmarking him very closely as he is potentially seeking a new club.
As it stands, Sarri shows no intention of willing to sacrifice the €10m defender as his contract with the Biancocelesti expires in the summer of 2026. However, the Italian international could be open to an exit in order to gain more playing time and find a tactical system that is tailored to his abilities on the pitch.
Within last year’s campaign, Lazzarri has made a total of 33 appearances across all competitions under Sarri at the helm of the capital club.
The acquisition of Lazzarri with the Beneamata would result in the reunion of Inzaghi and Lazzari as the two individuals worked together at the Biancocelesti, winning a Supercoppa and a Coppa Italia throughout their two years together at the Stadio Olimpico before Inzaghi accepted the vacant managerial role at Inter.
