Inter-owned striker Martin Satriano will be out of action for the rest of the season after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament while on loan at RC Lens.
The 23-year-old centre-forward has been on the Nerazzurri books since the move from Nacional in January 2020 at €2.4m.
The Uruguay international had several loan experiences at Stade Brestois, Empoli and since August of 2024 at RC Lens.
He had started the season with four Ligue 1 appearances, but is now unlikely to return for many months after the serious knee ligament injury.
RC Lens have an obligation to buy Satriano outright from Inter for €5m if they avoid relegation from Ligue 1 at the end of this season, having already paid €1m for the loan, but it remains to be seen if that will be affected by this long-term setback.
It was during the 0-0 draw with OGC Nice that Satriano tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee.
