If this is truly the summer where a reset is needed, then Inter may well be the right club. Serie A can offer a slower tempo, a tactical education, and a platform to rebuild, just as it has for countless others. And for United, a clean break could benefit both parties.

The reported €25 million valuation feels low, but the reality is United will struggle to recoup anywhere near what they paid Borussia Dortmund. That ship has sailed.
