Inter are reportedly in negotiations to extend the contract of wing-back Federico Dimarco after a strong start to the season under new coach Cristian Chivu.
The Italy international will turn 28 next month and his current deal holds him to San Siro until June 2027.
He had struggled at times last season, and then expressed frustration at some of the ways he was dealt with by former tactician Simone Inzaghi.

So far this term, he has scored two goals and provided three assists in six Serie A appearances for Inter, rediscovering his confidence and form.
The statistics also show Dimarco is top in Serie A for crosses completed (23), chances created (22) and big opportunities created (11).
This could well be rewarded, as FCInterNews.it note that the club is in the process of discussing a new and improved contract.
It is likely to run until either 2029 or 2030, adding at least a couple of years to his previous agreement.
Dimarco is certainly in no hurry to move on, as he grew up being an Inter supporter and came up through their youth academy, becoming a solid part of the squad following loan spells at Ascoli, Empoli, FC Sion, Parma and Verona.
