Inter have confirmed the arrival of Josep Martínez from Genoa in a deal worth 15m euros (£12m).
The Nerazzurri have long been on the hunt for a new shot-stopper, with Yann Sommer now into his mid thirties and a lack of other options for Simone Inzaghi.
They have turned to Martinez, who appeared 36 times in his debut Serie A campaign for Genoa, keeping eight clean sheets in the process.
Martinez, who turned 26 in May, has previously been on the books of RB Leipzig and Las Palmas.
The Spaniard, who made his sole appearance for the national side back in June 2021, has penned a five year deal at San Siro.
