Francesco Pio Esposito’s agent has issued a strong message to the Italian media, calling for greater restraint in how the young striker is being portrayed.

The Inter-owned forward, currently gaining valuable experience on loan, has drawn significant attention in recent weeks — something his camp feels could quickly become counterproductive.

Speaking to Tuttomercatoweb, his agent Mario Giufreddi made it clear that the level of hype has started to exceed what is healthy for a developing player.

He said: “We need to stop the media clamour around him. You are creating atomic expectations on a boy who is just starting his career.”

He went on to explain that Esposito’s development must be treated with patience: “Let him work, let him make mistakes and improve — that’s how careers are built.”

The agent also noted that Esposito’s mindset remains positive and grounded, focusing solely on football rather than speculation about his future. For now, the aim is steady growth — not headlines.

The talent spent last season on loan at Spezia and made a real mark. So far, he has shown that he can hold his own at Inter.
