Inter Milan are expected to part ways with Davide Frattesi this summer, with Napoli and AS Roma among the clubs interested in signing the midfielder.

Frattesi joined Inter from Sassuolo in 2023 and was made a permanent addition to the squad the following year.

However, despite his contributions, he has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter under Cristian Chivu.

The Italy international is still considered a useful option in rotation, but not a key part of the long-term project.

As a result, both the player and his representatives have been working for some time to find a solution that would offer him more consistent playing time at a high level, according to the latest reports from CalcioMercato.

Frattesi heads for Inter exit after near-miss Nottingham Forest move

A potential exit was already explored during the January transfer window, with Premier League side Nottingham Forest reportedly close to a move but no deal materialised in the end.

Now, a summer departure appears increasingly likely, with several clubs ready to move.

Napoli and Roma are currently among the most attentive suitors, both looking to strengthen their midfield options ahead of next season.

For Frattesi, meanwhile, the priority remains clear: to find a club where he can play regularly while maintaining a competitive level similar to that of Inter.
