Inter U23, Spinaccè's brace defeats Lumezzane | OneFootball

Another great evening for Inter U23 as they take home three points at Lumezzane's tough ground. In the seventh round of Serie C Group A, the Nerazzurri side won 2-1 thanks to a brace from Spinaccè, who was lethal in front of goal. Stefano Vecchi's Nerazzurri have secured their fourth consecutive win and now sit third in the rankings with 14 points, joining Union Brescia.

A strong start saw Lumezzane immediately posing a threat in the seventh minute thanks to Iori, but he was denied by Calligaris' impressive save. The Nerazzurri responded soon after, as just four minutes later they took the lead. Topalovic's vertical pass found Spinaccè, who cut in, got past a defender, and curled a precise left-footed shot past Drago to make it 0-1. Inter U23 continued to create chances, and they almost doubled their lead in the 43rd minute: La Gumina brilliantly won the ball back on the right and set up Topalovic, whose clear chance was blocked by the opposition's defence. But just before halftime, the game took a turn for the worse for the hosts. In the 38th minute, Lumezzane were left with ten men after Paghera was sent off with a second yellow card. After five minutes of added time, the teams went into the break with the Nerazzurri in front.

In the second half, Lumezzane tried to make a comeback despite being a man down: in the 57th minute, Malotti almost equalised with a curling shot at the edge of the box. Inter responded just five minutes later with a promising chance: Kamate made a run and set up La Gumina, whose clever touch was miraculously saved by Drago. The decisive moment came in the 66th minute as the home side were given a penalty, which Malotti converted from the spot to make it 1-1. But the Nerazzurri kept their composure and carried on pressing. Just eight minutes later, Kamate's shot was deflected by a defender, and Spinaccè reacted immediately and fired a first-time shot past the keeper to give Inter U23 the lead. In the final moments of the game, Inter managed their advantage well and didn't take any risks.
