Inter will host Lazio in the Italian Super Cup at San Siro.

Sky Sport Italia reports the organisers have set Tuesday, 22 December for the match, during a two-week festive pause in Serie A. The final round of 2025 falls on the 19-20 December weekend, with league action resuming on two January.

After three seasons in a four-team format featuring Serie A’s top two and the Coppa Italia finalists, the organisers have reverted to the traditional meeting of league winners and cup holders.

Inter’s domestic double last term means Lazio qualify as Coppa Italia runners-up. The tie is a rematch of May’s final, which Inter won 2-0 under Cristian Chivu.

The past four editions were staged in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The most recent edition in Italy was January 2022, when Inter beat Juventus 3-2 at the Giuseppe Meazza.

Inter are chasing a ninth Super Cup to draw level with Juventus’ record, while Lazio target their sixth, and first since 2019.
