Inter welcome Sassuolo to San Siro tomorrow evening as the Nerazzurri look to put last weekend’s 4-3 defeat to Juventus in the past and get their Serie A campaign back on track.
Inter have just one win in their opening three games this season, with new head coach Cristian Chivu losing out in matches against the Bianconeri and Udinese.
Despite this, Chivu’s side have scored more goals than any other team in Serie A this season but have also conceded five times already.
According to Sky Sport, the Romanian coach is set to experiment with his Inter line-up when they welcome the Neroverdi to Lombardy on Sunday.
The first change for Chivu will see Spanish goalkeeper Josep Martinez handed his first appearance of the season. This comes after a week of speculation around current number one Yann Sommer. Sommer was poor in the derby against Juventus and made not a single save, whilst conceding four times.
However, Chivu kept his faith in the player against Ajax during the week and the Swiss keeper repaid his coach’s trust with a stellar performance and a clean sheet.

For Sassuolo though, Chivu may finally rotate and Martinez will get his chance to show what he can do.
Sky also anticipate that Carlos Augusto will come into the defence at left centre-back to replace Alessandro Bastoni, who Chivu is set to rest.
Petar Sucic will reportedly start over Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Davide Frattesi, with the latter yet to play a minute in the league so far under Chivu.
In attack, Sky predict that youngster Francesco Pio Esposito will retain the edge over Lautaro Martinez.

The Argentine has returned to full training with the rest of the group this weekend and has made himself available to Chivu. However, Sky claim that the coach will not take any risks and give youngster Pio Esposito another start after his impressive Champions League debut against Ajax on Wednesday.
For Sassuolo, Coulibaly is set to come in for Walukiewicz and Fabio Grosso looks set to keep the same midfield that starred in last weekend’s impressive 1-0 win over Lazio.
