PSG
Already qualified for this year's Intercontinental Cup final, PSG now knows where the showdown will take place.
On Monday, FIFA officially announced the stadium that will host the Intercontinental Cup final. The honor goes to Ahmad bin Ali Stadium, more commonly known as Al-Rayyan Stadium, located about twenty kilometers west of Doha, Qatar. This state-of-the-art 45,000-seater, originally built for the 2022 World Cup and major international events, will stage the tournament's decisive match on December 17, where PSG will head straight into the final thanks to their status as European champions.
PSG is still waiting to find out their opponent, who will be determined after the matches between Cruz Azul, Flamengo, and the surprise package Pyramids FC, who remain in contention after their victories over Auckland City and Al-Ahli. The winner of the Cruz Azul–Flamengo clash on December 10 will face Pyramids on December 13, with a place in the final at stake.
