Botafogo and Internacional drew 2-2 at the Mané Garrincha on Saturday, a result that keeps Botafogo ninth in the Brasileirão and Internacional 14th.

In the 54th minute, Danilo drove Fogão ahead from the centre of the box, set up by Mateo Ponte.

Johan Carbonero levelled on a fast break (59.), fed by Alerrandro. Cristian Medina quickly restored Fogão's lead from close range (65.).

Alexandro Ezequiel Bernabei then equalised with a low strike from outside the box after a corner (74.).

Inter goalkeeper Anthoni made key stops late on to preserve the point. Neto also produced notable saves for Fogão.

Fogão tallied 16 attempts with seven on target and held 52.7% possession. Inter managed eight attempts, four on target.
