An evening of international matches for six Nerazzurri, who were involved in World Cup 2026 qualification matches and friendlies.
Italy were defeated by Norway in the Azzurri's first match in Group I of the World Cup Qualifiers. Norway ran out 3-0 winners in Oslo. Four Inter players featured: Alessandro Bastoni and Nicolò Barella both started and played the whole match. Davide Frattesi played the entire second half. Federico Dimarco came on in the 83rd minute to replace Udogie. Norway's goals were scored by Sorloth, Nusa and Haaland: the Scandinavian side lead the group with nine points after three games.
Petar Sučić's Croatia won 7-0 against Gibraltar, with the 21 year old midfielder starting the match. In the match in Faro, Portugal, Pasalic, Budimir, Ivanovic (brace), Perisic and Kramaric (brace) were all on the scoresheet. Sučić played the first half before making way for Kramaric. Croatia currently training the Czech Republic and Montenegro in Group L, but have two games in hand.
Poland also won in their friendly against Moldova. Nicola Zalewski started the match and played 60 minutes before being substituted for Kaminski. Poland won 2-0 thanks to goals from Cash and Slisz. Piotr Zielinski was not called up.
