The Magpies pair have been named in the Germany squad ahead of their friendly double-header against Switzerland and Ghana.

The four-time World champions will face Switzerland at St. Jakob-Park, home of FC Basel, on Friday 27 March before hosting Ghana three days later at the MHPArena in Stuttgart.

Both games will take place at 7:45pm.

Woltemade, who joined Newcastle from VfB Stuttgart last summer, has scored four times in his last three outings for his country while Thiaw will be aiming to add to his five caps accrued at senior level.

Elanga has been named in the Sweden squad for their 2026 World Cup Path B qualifier against Ukraine.

Graham Potter's side travel to Spain to face Ukraine in the semi-finals, with the last-four tie taking place at the Estadi Ciutat de València (kick-off 7:45pm GMT).

The match will take place on Thursday 26 March, with the winner facing either Poland and Albania in a final encounter five days later at the same venue.

Finalists in 1958, Sweden will be aiming to reach the World Cup finals for a second time in their last five attempts.

William Osula

Osula has been named in the Denmark squad ahead of their World Cup Path D qualifier against North Macedonia on Thursday 26 March.

Brian Riemer's side finished in second place of their Group C campaign, two points adrift of table toppers Scotland, and were drawn at home to North Macedonia in the semi-finals.

The last-four tie will take place at Parken Stadium, home of F.C. Copenhagen, with the winner facing a final showdown away at either Czech Republic or Republic of Ireland on Tuesday 31 March in order to qualify for this summer's World Cup finals.

Both games are set to take place at 7:45pm BST.

Osula, who has scored eight goals in 15 appearances for his country at under-21 level, is still awaiting his senior international debut.

Yoane Wissa

Wissa has been named in the DR Congo squad as his country aim to reach a first World Cup finals since 1974.

DR Congo will face either New Caledonia or Jamaica in the World Cup qualification play-off final on Tuesday 31 March, with the winner advancing into Group K of this summer's World Cup finals, which contains Portugal, Uzbekistan and Colombia.

The match will take place at Estadio Akron in Mexico, with kick-off set at 10pm BST.

DR Congo will also warm up for the play-off final by taking on Bermuda in a friendly on Wednesday 25 March.
