There was just one Juventus player in action with their national team on Saturday, 16 November, yet what an impact he made!
The Netherlands lined up against Hungary in their penultimate Nations League group stage match-up at the Amsterdam Arena, sitting level on points with their opponents in second place in their group, and were looking for a much-needed win to boost their chances of quarter-final qualification.
And they did just that, overpowering the Hungarians 4-0, with the final nail in the coffin coming from our very own Teun Koopmeiners, a 68th-minute substitute in the game, who rose highest to head home his side's fourth with just four minutes left on the clock.
The Dutch now sit alone in second place in their group, three points ahead of Hungary who face table-toppers Germany on Tuesday, while the Dutch play bottom-placed Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Several Juventus First Team players could take to the pitch on Sunday, with Jonas Rouhi's Sweden U-21s involved in friendly action, and our quartet of Italians as well as Samuel Mbangula involved in their final Nations League group stage ties.
