Inzaghi ‘yet to decide’ on Malcom as Al-Hilal start, Nunez and Cancelo absent | OneFootball

Malcom is set to be involved as Al-Hilal open their Saudi Roshn League season against newly promoted Al-Fayha at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh this evening, Friday, despite ongoing links to a summer exit.

Arriyadiyah reports that head coach Simone Inzaghi has named the Brazilian in his final squad, though he is yet to decide whether to start him or use him from the bench.

The winger has been heavily linked with a move. Al-Diriyah want him, and there is interest from clubs in Brazil, Qatar and the Emirates.

Two foreign players will miss out entirely, with Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez and Portuguese full-back Joao Cancelo both omitted. No reason was given for their exclusion.

Both are tipped to depart this summer. Barcelona want Cancelo on a permanent deal, while Nunez is closing on a switch to Türkiye's Trabzonspor.
