Ipswich Town have been in touch with Crystal Palace over a deal for Celtic linked striker Odsonne Edouard, according to the Times.
Edouard is set to fall down the pecking order at Selhurst Park when Eddie Nketiah completes a move to Palace from Arsenal.
Crystal Palace are willing to let him move on for the right price and a potential stunning return to former club Celtic has been floated.
Ipswich are also in the mix for Edouard though after they saw a swoop for Chelsea striker Armando Broja hit choppy waters.
The Tractor Boys have been in touch with Crystal Palace to ask about signing Edouard.
On the table from the Ipswich end is a loan deal with an obligation to buy; Ipswich had a similar formula lined up to sign Broja from Chelsea.
Crystal Palace are looking for £20m to let Edouard go.
It is unclear if the Eagles would be open to the £20m coming in for form of an obligation clause in a loan agreement.
A price tag of £20m also looks likely to rule Edouard out of a return north of the border to Celtic.
