Ipswich Town ‘to push’ to sign SC Freiburg winger Scherhant | OneFootball

Sport BILD reports that Ipswich Town are pushing to sign SC Freiburg winger Derry Scherhant, and that Freiburg would consider a sale only at around 16.5m to 17.5m.

Head coach Julian Schuster is planning with the forward for the upcoming season and the club see no reason to let a key player go.

Scherhant could envisage a move to England, but any departure would depend on the fee being right.

He made 44 appearances across all competitions last season, returning seven goals and one assist for Freiburg.
