The player in question is Josip Stanišić. The Croatian, who was previously on loan to Bayer Leverkusen, has since established himself at Bayern. While he isn’t an undisputed starter in any one position, he’s an important option for multiple roles.

That’s why Stanišić sees frequent playing time. He seems quite content with his role in Munich. But precisely because he brings that flexibility to the table, other clubs have him on their radar as well.

However, it’s still unclear whether this monitoring will lead to concrete interest and, consequently, an offer. That will depend on the clubs’ defensive needs, as well as Stanisic’s playing time and satisfaction. A transfer is therefore not on the horizon in any form.

Given that his contract runs through the summer of 2029, the Croatian defender is tied to Bayern for the foreseeable future, and there’s no reason not to remain relaxed about this situation. Especially since Stanisic is an important player for Vincent Kompany, who trusts him and starts him in many games.

In fact, the fact that he is on the scouting lists of several top clubs speaks volumes about the player and his performances. However, should a truly concrete offer come along, the record champions would also have some strong arguments on their side.
