Former Chelsea fan favourite Eidur Gudjohnsen has questioned this current Chelsea and whether any of them actually love the club.

It’s a fair question too. It really feels that right now there are very few people left at this club who truly care about Chelsea FC.

The former Blues striker is questioning the character of the team after the 3-0 defeat to Manchester City on Sunday evening.

The Blues rolled over for City in the second half of the game – making it a disastrous afternoon for anyone involved with the club.

In words picked up on SPTC today, Gudjohnsen said:

“In the second half, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Chelsea team with such an inferiority in the physical part of the game. Men vs talents. Who do they look up to up to, to get you inspired?

“If we had have lost 3-0 at home back in our day, I wouldn’t have slept for four days. Is there anyone who actually loves this club? They’re too easy to play against and I think it comes down to character.”

Head coach Liam Rosenior is nowhere near good enough to manage Chelsea, that should be clear by now. But he’s been doing his best to react to the City defeat yesterday, claiming that they have big plans for the summer transfer window.

The Blues boss also holds himself accountable for the defeat yesterday, as he should do being the manager. But it’s also clearly on this ownership who have built a squad that is FAR from good enough.
