Tottenham will bid to arrest their slide down into the Championship with their first home game under Roberto De Zerbi as they face his former club, Brighton.
The Italian’s tenure got off to a miserable start with a 1-0 defeat to Sunderland in which captain Cristian Romero suffered a season-ending knee injury, further adding to their woes.
Spurs go into this fixture winless in the Premier League in 2026 and two points adrift of safety with only six games to play, while the Seagulls are on a three-match winning streak and are only two points off Chelsea in sixth as they hunt a European place.
They enjoyed a routine 2-0 victory over struggling Burnley last time out and will look to replicate that result at another relegation-threatened side.
Tottenham host Brighton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 18 April, with kick-off at 5.30pm BST.
Viewers in the UK can watch the game on Sky Sports Main Event. If you’re not a Sky customer, you can grab a NOWTV Day Pass here to watch without a subscription.
Romero joined the likes of long-term absentees James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski, while the game comes too soon for Mohammed Kudus and first-choice keeper Guglielmo Vicario, who - in some light at the end of the tunnel - are expected to return by the end of the month.
Brighton are without captain Lewis Dunk, who is serving a suspension after picking up too many yellows, while the game is likely to come too soon for Adam Webster as he recovers from a knee injury. But James Milner could be in line for a return after sustaining a minor issue in training before the Burnley game.
