Thomas Tuchel, are you watching??
Brighton & Hove Albion have twice taken the lead against Liverpool at American Express Stadium.
And on both occasions, it was the ever-reliable Danny Welbeck who gave his side the advantage.
After less than 15 minutes played, Diego Gómez found Welbeck at the back-post with a header across the face of goal. The veteran striker climbed over the back of Ibrahima Konaté to head in his 11th league goal of the season, his most ever in a Premier League campaign.
15 Minutes later, Liverpool gifted an equaliser as Milos Kerkez pounced on a poor headed back-pass from Lewis Dunk.
However, Brighton regained the lead in the second-half as Welbeck scored his second of the match, taking his PL tally to 12 goals.
The 35-year-old now has two more Premier League goals than any other English player this season, overtaking Leeds' Dominic Calvert-Lewin (10).
Given Welbeck's consistency this season, you have to wonder if England manager Thomas Tuchel will consider including him in his World Cup squad.
Do you think Welbeck deserves a World Cup spot?
