Liverpool will face off against West Ham United at the London Stadium this Sunday as they hope to secure all three points on the road in the Premier League. The Reds suffered a dismal 4-1 loss at the hands of PSV Eindhoven in midweek, so they would be desperate to put in a much-improved showing versus the Hammers.
Arne Slot will stick with his favoured 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make some tweaks to his first XI for this game. Alexander Isak, Alisson Becker and Andy Robertson could all play from the start of this contest.
Alisson Becker will operate in goal for the Reds after he missed out against PSV in midweek. Ibrahima Konate will continue to function alongside Virgil Van Dijk at the centre of the Liverpool backline as they focus on keeping the opposition attackers at bay during the 90 minutes.
Curtis Jones will fill in as the right-back, while Andy Robertson hopes to impress on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Joe Gomez will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch will anchor the midfield for the Merseyside club as they look to make life difficult for the opposition at the centre of the park.
The talented trio of Cody Gakpo, Dominik Szoboszlai and Mohamed Salah will play just ahead of them as part of Slot’s attack. All three of them need to perform at their best if Liverpool are to come out on top at the London Stadium this Sunday.
Wataru Endo and Rio Ngumoha will make up the numbers on the bench.
Florian Wirtz is unlikely to recover in time for this game.
Speaking to Essential.Football, former Manchester City striker Paul Dickov weighed in on the German’s tough start at Liverpool and said,
“I feel a little bit for him. He came with a huge price tag. He’s obviously a talented player, we all know that. But he’s come into the team and sometimes when you move to a big club like Liverpool, you need your teammates around you to perform and to help you settle in a little bit.
“You look at Liverpool’s form, and the big players are struggling at the minute and it makes it even more difficult for somebody of Wirtz’ age (22). He is young, and even somebody so talented would struggle to come into this team and hit that ground running.”
Alexander Isak will lead the line for Liverpool up top. He has to find a way to be a constant menace in the final third.
Federico Chiesa will be available for selection on the bench.
