Arne Slot says Alexander Isak is ready to be involved in the Champions League quarter-final first leg against PSG.
The striker returned to training last week having been out since December after suffering a leg break.
He was not deemed ready to be involved in the 4-0 defeat to Manchester City in the FA Cup on Saturday, but the Liverpool boss says he is ready to play a part off the bench in Paris on Wednesday.
“He’s finished close to a week of team training sessions now so he can play a part, otherwise I wouldn’t take him,” Slot said.
“I decided not to take him to the Etihad because we felt, talking with him, the medical staff, that we weren’t able to get a performance out of him yet.
“We think we can get a performance out of him now, but not to start.”

Following the heavy defeat to City on Saturday, Slot says he has full belief that his players will show a response against PSG.
“This group has shown it can come back after setbacks,” he said. “Apart from the quality my team has, my team have shown many times in big games, apart from two at the Etihad, that we are able to compete with the best teams in Europe.”
