Bayern Munich have already suffered a blow in the transfer market after they failed to sign Anthony Gordon.
The England winger was heavily linked with a move to Bayern, but Barcelona came up with a big offer and lured him away.
Signing a new winger is a priority for Bayern, but they are now looking at different profile of players after missing out on Gordon.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that Bayern Munich have identified PSV Eindhoven attacker Ismael Saibari as a potential summer target after missing out on Anthony Gordon.
The transfer expert claims that Bayern have already opened talks with Saibari’s camp as they look to strengthen their wide attacking options ahead of next season.
Romano adds that Bayern “appreciate” the Morocco international and are now seeking clarity on PSV’s asking price for the 25-year-old.
Saibari is also understood to be keen on a move to Bavaria, although no formal offer has been submitted at this stage.
Christian Falk has exclusively told CFBayern that Bayern should not expect to sign Saibari on the cheap.
The attacker enjoyed an outstanding 2025-26 campaign for PSV, scoring 15 goals and providing eight assists across all competitions, while also impressing in the Champions League.
The Bild journalist suggests that Bayern are currently prioritising players with the right profile and potential rather than pursuing a marquee signing, but Saibari’s valuation remains a significant obstacle.
Falk said: “The player fits the desired profile perfectly. Following the move for Anthony Gordon falling through, they are not currently looking for a ‘star’ signing. However, one thing is clear: this transfer is unlikely to be a bargain.
“Saibari remains under contract in Eindhoven until 2029; consequently, PSV is under no pressure to sell. As early as April, transfer insider Ekrem Konur linked Bayern with Saibari, estimating the Dutch club’s asking price at around €50 million.”
While €50m is relatively modest compared to the fee Barcelona reportedly paid for Gordon, Bayern would almost certainly prefer to negotiate that figure down before advancing their interest further.
