Ismaïla Sarr was named Europa Conference League player of the season after finishing as top scorer with nine goals. Crystal Palace won the competition by beating Rayo Vallecano 1-0 on Wednesday.
According to L'Équipe, the Senegal international was confirmed as the award winner on Thursday. He did not make a decisive contribution in the final.
Sarr struck in the play-off first leg, then hit a brace in the round of 16 second leg that sent the London club through. He also scored in both legs of the quarter-finals and semi-finals.
The 28-year-old previously played for Metz, Rennes and Marseille. His form underpinned Palace’s surge through the knockout rounds.
The victory delivered Crystal Palace the first European trophy in their history.
He succeeds Isco, who was recognised in 2025 despite Real Betis losing 1-4 to Chelsea in the final.
