Will Issoufou Dayo renew his stay in Morocco?
Issoufou Dayo is about to extend his stay in Morocco
Burkina Faso defender Issoufou Dayo could renew his contract with Moroccan giants Renaissance de Berkane for a longer period of time after the player's good performances with the team and his direct contribution to the defence.
The 33-year-old's contract with the club expired at the end of last season, and despite receiving several attractive offers from big clubs on the African continent and beyond, he apparently wants to stay with the club for next season.
According to press reports, the Moroccan club's management has decided to offer the defender an extension in order to ensure that he stays with the club for as long as possible, knowing that the player's market value is currently €700,000 and any other giant club in Africa would have paid that price for the player.
The player has received huge offers from African and Asian clubs, and one of the Asian clubs that made an offer to the player is Saudi Arabia's Al Ettifaq, which could be the highest financial offer made by one of those clubs to the Burkinabe player.
