Istanbul will stage the 2027 Spanish Super Cup in early February, the Spanish federation said in a statement on Thursday. Türkiye replaces Saudi Arabia for this edition due to calendar issues. The tournament will run from two to seven February.

Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atlético de Madrid and Real Sociedad will compete for the trophy. All matches will be played at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium, the largest venue in the country.

The Super Cup has been held in Saudi Arabia since 2020, with an exception in Seville in 2021. It has been moved this season because the kingdom is staging the Asian Cup from seven January to five February.

The competition will return to Saudi Arabia in 2028.

Barcelona won the last edition, beating Real Madrid 3-2 in the final.
