Chelsea are talks with Raheem Sterling and his representatives with a solution to his future expected by Monday according to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol.

Sterling hasn’t played since a disappointing loan spell at Arsenal last season, and has been part of the infamous “bomb” squad since returning to Chelsea last summer.

There were reportedly clubs interested in the England international, but he failed to secure a move away from Stamford Bridge.

Raheem Sterling future to be sorted by Monday

West Ham reportedly made an approach for Sterling, but it’s believed his preference was to join Fulham, however that looks unlikely to happen.

Sterling has also been linked with a move to Italian Champions Napoli, and is reportedly open to an experience outside of England.

However, with less than a week left in the window no offers have come in, and Solhekol has now provided an update.

He took to X.com and said:

“Chelsea are in talks with Raheem Sterling and his representatives and a solution is expected to be found before the window closes on Monday.

“It is expected he will no longer be a Chelsea player after Monday. Sterling has been training away from the first-team squad and he still has 18 months left to run on a contract worth more than £300,000 a week.

“The player does not want to leave on another loan deal.

“There is still time to find a potential permanent move or an agreement could be reached regarding his contract.

“Either way, a solution is expected by Monday.”

Chelsea looking for new club for Axel Disasi

Whilst Chelsea are hoping to sort Sterling’s future out before the end of the window, the same can be said for Axel Disasi.

The Frenchman hasn’t played for Chelsea for over a year, and is reportedly attracting interest from both West Ham and Crystal Palace.

Roma and Lyon are said to have made approaches for Disasi, but as of yet no offers have come in, and it will be interesting to see where Disasi ends up.
