John Stones has announced he will leave Manchester City this summer after ten years at the club.

Stones was boss Pep Guardiola’s second signing at City, joining in 2016 and going on to make 293 appearances for the club.

He has won 19 trophies with City, including six Premier League titles, one UEFA Champions League, two FA Cup triumphs, five Carabao Cup successes, three Community Shields, a FIFA Club World Cup and a UEFA Super Cup winner’s medal.

“It’s been my home for the past ten years and it will be my home for the rest of my life,” Stones said, announcing he would depart.

“I came as a kid and now I’m leaving as a man, becoming a father, a husband, and on the pitch a very fulfilled player in living all my dreams out and doing all the things I came here to achieve.”
