Italian clubs ‘monitoring’ Borussia Dortmund defender Luca Reggiani

Italian clubs are monitoring Borussia Dortmund centre-back Luca Reggiani, with speculation building over his future. Bild reports that several clubs in his home country, Italy, are interested in a potential move.

The 18-year-old broke into the senior side last season, making nine appearances across all competitions for the Black and Yellows.

Interest is believed to have increased after he made his senior debut for Italy in June.

Reggiani could be open to a return to Italy, while Dortmund would consider a sale if the right offer arrives.

Competition in central defence is strong, with Waldemar Anton, Ramy Bensebaini, new signing Joane Gadou and Filippo Mané in contention. The currently injured Nico Schlotterbeck and Emre Can are also part of that group.
