Italian journalist Paolo Condo believes that Inter Milan and Juventus are off in the “distance” from the rest of the teams in Serie A.

The pundit gave his thoughts on the Serie A title race while speaking on Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews.

It is only two matches into the Italian top flight season. But already, the dynamic looks fairly clear.

Last season’s runners-up AC Milan have stumbled badly at the start. They have drawn with Torino and lost to Parma.

Meanwhile, Napoli have recovered from a disastrous opening day loss to Hellas Verona by convincingly beating Bologna.

However, it remains to be seen if the Partenopei have what it takes to make a big push, having finished tenth last season.

The results have been mixed, then, for teams like Atalanta and Lazio.

One team for whom the results have not been mixed is Juventus.

The Bianconeri have taken six points from six so far. They have not disappointed after a summer of massive spending to rebuild the team for new coach Thiago Motta.

Juventus are the only team to have won both their matches in Serie A so far.

Therefore, there is no doubt that the Old Lady are setting the pace in the Serie A title race.

But while Inter have already dropped points, they have recovered with a strong win over Lecce.

The Nerazzurri won last season’s title in dominant fashion.

Therefore, Inter do not look like a team who will let Juventus or any other rivals dethrone them without tremendous effort.

“Inter and Juventus are distant from the rest of the teams in the league,” argued Italian pundit Condo.

He went on that “Inter have added players to a team that won the league by nineteen points.”

“Juventus have spent a great deal of money,” Condo continued.

“And then in the first two matches they got the job done without the big signings who are now coming in.”
