Multiple sources claim Vincenzo Italiano has agreed to extend his contract with Bologna until 2027, despite interest from Milan.
The coach met the Bologna directors this morning, and according to Sky Sport Italia and Gazzetta, he agreed to extend his contract at the Stadio Dall’Ara until 2027.
The former Fiorentina boss’ contract was due to expire in June 2026, but he has now agreed to extend the agreement by one more season, receiving a pay rise.

According to reports, Italiano will earn €3m per season, including add-ons and has been reassured that the club will aim to battle for Europe again in the coming years.
The Rossoblu sold Joshua Zirkzee and Riccardo Calafiori last summer, but still remained competitive under their new tactician, battling for a top-four finish until the final games of the season and winning the Coppa Italia, the club’s first major trophy in 51 years.
